Who We Are

Brunel is a capital raising boutique based in Brazil, connecting investment opportunities with investors globally. We have over 100 years of cumulative capital raising experience with over US$3bn of capital raised since our inception.

We work both to raise capital for Latin America based managers from allocators internationally, as well as global funds looking to access Latin American investors. We are uniquely positioned as a bridge between investment opportunities and capital, to identify the most compelling managers and opportunities, and connect them with the right investors.

How We Work

Capital moves both ways. We connect Latin American managers to international allocators, and global managers to Latin American allocators.

Latin America Investment Opportunities – International Allocators

We specialize in helping Latin America based investment managers, across asset classes, raise capital for funds, co-investments and secondaries from institutional investors across North America, Europe, the Middle East and Asia. We typically select one core manager per asset class but can be opportunistic when we come across exceptional opportunities. We have been actively fundraising across private equity, venture, public equities, hedge funds, infrastructure, private credit, agriculture, mining, real estate and nature-based forest solutions.

Global Investment Opportunities – Brazilian Allocators

We work with select investment managers globally to help them connect with investors in Brazil and wider South America. We maintain close relationships with the majority of large single and multi-family offices in Brazil, as well as banks, wealth management platforms and other institutional investors. Our speciality is to understand the prevailing objectives of local investors and connect them with specialist investment managers that they would otherwise not come across or not be able to access. We work across large multi-billion dollar managers where we can offer access and more niche managers with specialist strategies that fit local investor demand.
